Q. What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding at LMU is an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to raise money for the transformational projects and programs that help enhance the LMU student experience. At its core, crowdfunding is peer-to-peer fundraising led by LMU community members whose work will benefit from the funds raised.
Q. What is GiveGab/Bonterra? Is my gift secure?
GiveGab, which is becoming Bonterra, is LMU’s giving platform. GiveGab helps nonprofits raise money, engage donors, and manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. All gifts are processed through a secure payment processor.
Q. Is there a minimum gift amount?
Gifts of $5 or more will be accepted.
Q. Can I give to more than one area?
Yes! You can add multiple donations to your basket before checking out.
Q. Is my gift tax deductible?
Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, which includes the fair market value of any benefits received. Please consult with your tax advisor and/or tax preparer if you have questions.
