Join the Latino Alumni Association (LAA) in celebrating Latinx Heritage Month, Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, by supporting the LAA Scholarship at LMU.

LAA has been a cornerstone of financial support for our Latino undergraduate students for over 40 years. Through the generous contributions of alumni, parents, and friends, LMU has awarded more than 2,600 LAA scholarships, providing more than $10 million in financial aid to date. This support has been crucial in achieving a Latino student retention rate of 90%.

This year, the LAA Board aims to award over 145 LAA scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. Your contribution, of any amount, will ensure that more Latino students experience the transformative power of an LMU education, preparing them to address the most pressing challenges in our society. LMU values diversity and is committed to providing a positive campus experience for all students. Join us in supporting the LAA Scholarship during this important month.

Thanks to the generosity of the Los Angeles County Hispanic Managers Association, all gifts made to the LAA Scholarship will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, now through Oct. 15.
